Antonio Moro
Founder & Creative Director
Pioneered internet communities in 1997 by creating the italian newsgroup dedicated to Role Playing Games, IHGG, and the sister website, IHGGOL.
I also co-founded DollyDesign in 1998 with Enrico Maioli. Dismissed in 2002, DollyDesign was the first and biggest webdesign community in Italy.
In 2001 I was Partner and Creative Director in Mimic Digital Contents. Mimic creates digital contents and formats for the Internet, television and theatre. At Mimic I worked for the Milan Triennale, the Rome Eliseo theatre and the Venice Fenice theatre among others.
In 2000 and in 2001 I organized with Mimic and DollyDesign the first and biggest italian WebDesign conference: PixelDNA. Over 2000 professionals attended PixelDNA 2001 with speakers from all around the world and a huge media response.
In 2002 I joined E-TREE, the largest webdesign studio in Italy, as Creative Director of the Fantastificio department and I worked with top-class clients like Telecom Italia, Ducati, Moschino, Tiscali, Assicurazioni Generali among others.
In 2003 I joined BlueLemon, a studio focused on WebGames, VideoGames and RealTime 3D Applications, as Creative Director.
From 2007 to 2017 I was partner and creative director at Vae Victis, an independent videogame development studio based in Italy. With Vae Victis I worked on the creative development of Victory: The Age of Racing, our first title released on Steam, and on Racecraft, an arcade multiplayer racing game sold to arcades all over the world.
Since the early 2000s I embraced the “publishing revolution”, creating and maintaining different blogs or working as editor for high traffic blog networks like Blogo.it
In 2009 I created Lega Nerd, the italian social magazine dedicated to the Nerd/Geek culture. As CEO, editor-in-chief and creative director of Lega Nerd, I oversaw both the product development and the editorial management of the magazine and its different social media presences, guiding the deputy editors and coordinating with the marketing department. In 2019 Lega Nerd was acquired by NetAddiction, one of the major digital publishers in Italy.
In 2020 and 2021 I was the creative director of UltraPop Festival, a brand new pop culture festival: 100% digital, UltraPop reaches over 1 million viewers with speakers from the entertainment, tech, science and video games industry.
In 2022 I left my roles in Lega Nerd and NetAddiction and founded ITOMI Studio. My new studio launched different editorial projects and products with the EPIC, Nerdvana and ITOMI Creative brands.
